Sharing for our parent group, who is collecting food donations for Buddy Bags!
MidAmerica National Bank is partnering with the Kiwanis Club of Canton to support the Canton Neighborhood Connection service project of providing food items for the Buddy Bag Program.
Buddy Bags help provide weekend food for local children who may not have reliable access to meals when school is out. We're collecting kid-friendly, non-perishable food items and would love your help!
Suggested Donations include:
Breakfast foods
• Cereal-individual boxes, cups or bowls
• Oatmeal packets or cups
• Snack Bars, Fruit Bars, Breakfast Bars, Granola Bars
• Pop tarts
Lunch/Supper foods
• Mac & Cheese boxes or cups
• Ramen packages or cups
• Tuna or Chicken pouches or small cans
• Ravioli or Spaghetti microwavable cups or small cans
• Soup or Vegetables microwavable cups or small cans
• Beef Sticks or small cans of Vienna Sausage
• Peanut Butter or Jelly packets
Snacks/Sides
• Fruit cups, Applesauce cups, Pudding cups, or Jello cups
• Peanut Butter crackers or Cheese crackers 6 ct packages
• Potato Chips, Pretzels, Chex Mix, Gold Fish, etc.
• Trail Mix, Peanuts, Mixed Nuts, Raisins or Soup Crackers individual packages
• Cookies individually wrapped or 6 ct packages
• Twinkies, Ding Dongs, Cinnamon Roll, Rice Krispie Treats
• Microwave Popcorn individually wrapped
• Small Candy Bars, Fruit Snacks or Fruit Roll ups
Drinks
• Juice boxes, pouches or bottles.
• Hot Chocolate packets
Drop off your donations at MidAmerica National Bank in Canton through Thursday, September 10th at 5:00pm and help us make sure local kids have food to get them through the weekend.
Together, our community can make a big difference, one Buddy Bag at a time.
