Were you treated differently in a restaurant, store, hotel, gym, or other public place because you are Muslim, wear hijab, speak another language, or are perceived to be Muslim?

Discrimination in public places is not always obvious. It can look like selective enforcement of rules, extra scrutiny, hostile comments, denial of service, or being treated differently than other customers.

Document what happened and contact CAIR-Michigan for help.

Purpose becomes powerful when it is rooted in service to others. 🌱

Real leadership is not built on titles, attention, or recognition β€” it is built on consistency, compassion, and the willingness to serve your community even when no one is watching.

Stay rooted. Stay intentional. Keep building.

Today, we honor the legacy of Malcolm X β€” a Muslim leader, truth-teller, and fearless advocate for justice.

His life reminds us that faith must be lived with courage, that dignity must be defended, and that liberation begins with a commitment to truth, knowledge, and action.

May his legacy continue to inspire us to speak boldly, serve sincerely, and stand firmly for justice.
