Volunteer Opportunities for Members & FRIENDS!

Would you like to volunteer at the Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium where proceeds benefit the Greater Akron Canton Payroll Association? The first event we know of is:
THE HARVEST CRUSADE
Pastor Greg Laurie will host a free, one-night Harvest Crusade at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio, on June 13, 2026. The event features music from Chris Tomlin and Jeremy Camp, aiming to bring a gospel message to the region with support from local churches. It is a large-scale, family-friendly event.

Description: A one-night, large-scale evangelistic event focusing on community and a message of hope.
The event is organized in partnership with local Ohio pastors and churches. It will also be streamed on harvest.org and the Harvest+ app.

GACPA NOTES: When you email us with your interest, we will supply you with further instructions such as:
Where to meet and how long you will be needed for the event. Most events are food service in nature and require you to walk and be on your feet for a few hours, you will be assigned a workstation when you get to the event so show up a bit early. You will need to wear a ball cap and smock provided by AVI. Dress for the weather and REMEMBER, you and your guest(s) are representing the Greater Akron Canton Payroll Association, the proceeds of your volunteer ship are needed to keep our operating expenses down for your meeting costs, so we appreciate you representing us in a professional manner.

Greater Akron Canton Payroll Association’s bi-annual Payroll In Focus One-Day Conference, taking place on Friday, March 13, 2026.

This in-person event at Raintree Golf & Event Center brings together payroll professionals for a full day of expert-led education on
multi-state payroll compliance, Ohio BWC updates, electronic tax notice resolution, AI in payroll, and payroll security.
Attendees who complete the full day will earn 6 RCHs, and lunch will be provided.
