Linda Fredrikson came to The Mountain, Canton, Texas, in July 2000, as a vendor with a rented space. She eventually purchased permanent retail shops there and gathered a customer following with her Stuffneat business ever since. As a loyal resident of this part of First Monday Trades Days, she witnessed the devastation that befell her neighbors in the fire of November 9, 2013. In the aftermath, Li

nda, found “diamonds,” that weretempered pieces of class, clear and also colored. Linda and Susan McCall, are making jewelry from these gems to benefit those who had lost merchandise, shop dwellings and hope.
“God revealed to me the first rocks that I call, ‘Mountain Fire Diamonds.’ I knew we could make something out of them to help make the Mountain strong. She and a friend, Susan, purchased kits to make the jewelry and great bags to put them in. Sets can be sold separately a just earrings or pendants, and pricing range from $15 to $35. Anyone that would like to donate can contact Linda at 214.402.5678. All proceeds go to the Mountain Fire Relief Fund. Linda is also working with others in the area to host other events that will also benefit the fund. Donations and checks can be made to Mountain Fire Relief Fund at the Texas Bank and Trust in Canton, Texas, which was set up by Kim Parker. The Mountain Association will be responsible for who is awarded money.
