Families earning six figures still qualify for taxpayer-funded vouchers for private schools. Public money should fund public schools. Instead, Ohio is sending $1.7B+ in tax dollars to private and religious schools for the wealthy.

Hide the data. Private schools can do that. Public schools can't. They are required to report their scores. And they do. If private schools are getting public money, they should have to take the same tests and report the results, too.

Parents of younger children attending private schools, including religious schools, are often unaware of some critical issues:
* Some schools don’t require teachers to have certification;
* Some schools are not accredited by the state;
* If your child is going into high school or college from a private school that is not accredited, they may not be able to get credit for the classes they took.
*Voucher schools choose their students. Public schools take everyone.

Public schools are under the public eye. Private schools are not. They operate behind closed doors. If they want public tax dollars they should open their doors and open their books.
