FYI

If you support a Scout with special needs, this is a webinar you will not want to miss.

Join us on April 22 at 8:00 PM Eastern for a session focused on Special Needs, Accommodations, Modifications, and Registration Beyond the Age of Eligibility (RBAE). Many families and leaders are not sure where to start or what options are available, and this webinar will walk through the policies and tools already built into Scouts BSA advancement to help every Scout succeed.

You will learn how accommodations work, when modifications may be appropriate, how RBAE works, and where to find the right resources and support. It is also a great opportunity to ask questions and better understand how to support your Scout.

🌩️ Black Friday Hazardous Weather Training Blitz!
Because the Only Storm You Should Face Unprepared Is the One at the Mall.

While the rest of America is battling crowds, doorbusters, and shopping-cart gridlock, we’re inviting Buckeye Council leaders to take on a different kind of challenge—one that actually matters for youth safety.

Join us this Black Friday for our Hazardous Weather Training Blitz, a come-and-go learning push designed to help every leader stay ready when Mother Nature starts throwing curveballs. Thunderstorms? Heatwaves? Sudden cold snaps? You’ll be prepared—no coupon needed.

Why Black Friday?
Because while the world is stressing over flash sales, we’re focusing on flash floods.
While they’re navigating crowded parking lots, we’re practicing navigation through severe conditions.
And while they’re braving the chaos of the checkout line, we’re getting ready to brave real storms to keep our Scouts safe.

What Leaders Gain:
✔️ Required, up-to-date Hazardous Weather Training
✔️ Confidence to plan safer adventures
✔️ Quick completion—done before leftovers are reheated
✔️ The satisfaction of choosing preparedness over panic

Whether you’re sipping coffee in pajamas or recovering from Thanksgiving round two, take 30 minutes to knock out this essential training and show your pack, troop, or crew that safety doesn’t take a holiday.

Make it count. Make it safe.
Take Hazardous Weather Training this Black Friday.

After you’ve participated- comment below so we can celebrate your training!
