The Stark County NAACP ACT-SO Program is now recruiting students to participate in the Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological, and Scientific Olympics (ACT-SO)!

ACT-SO is a national NAACP initiative that recognizes and rewards the academic, artistic, and scientific achievements of African American youth.

🏆 Local Competition: April 2026
🏅 Gold Medal Winners advance to Nationals in Chicago – July 2026

Students can compete in 33 categories, including:

🔬 STEM (Engineering, AI, Medicine, Biology & more)
🎭 Performing Arts (Dance, Acting, Spoken Word, Music)
🎨 Visual Arts (Drawing, Photography, Filmmaking)
