✅ Help with taxes, FEMA applications, and health insurance enrollment
✅ Legal assistance for housing, FEMA claims, insurance issues, and more from NC Legal Aid disaster relief attorneys

On Wednesday Asheville Dream Center payed us a visit at our new site! The people you need are always placed in your life at the perfect time in the most unexpected ways. We are so excited to partner with these wonderful people to supply other sites with our excess donations and have a resource to turn to when we are in need of items!

VOLUNTEERS DESPERATELY NEEDED to help us relocate all items from our storage units to our new home! PLEASE help us get things relocated so we can offer scheduled weekly shopping days and a FULL CLOTHING CLOSET. Please either send us a message or call/text Amber at 828.550.0641.

We are very excited about our new location and all the wonderful programs we have to offer with this space. We will post location information and site hours HOPEFULLY on Monday if we can get fully relocated. Thank you!

Big HCM Pantry Updates!

The pantry will be CLOSED January 20th-31st, but non-perishable food boxes will be available at the front office during this time.

Starting February 3rd, here’s what’s new:

🕒 New Hours:
Mondays: 9 AM–12 PM
Wednesdays: 9 AM–12 PM
Fridays: 12 PM–4 PM

We will be at the distribution site giving away supplies! We have TONS of diapers, baby formula, socks, and adult diapers. We also have other regular supplies and they will be given on a first come first serve basis.

If there is still ice on the driveway we ask that you stay in your vehicle and we will bring the supplies to your vehicle! This ensures the safety of everyone involved in distribution. Thank you!

Haywood County schools are CLOSED again tomorrow!

We will be at the storage units from 12 until 3 or 4 (depending upon volume)! Come see us and get supplies you need!

Depending upon the driveway we may just be doing a drive up and tell us what you are needing so that we can be sure no one gets injured but regardless we will be there!

On Tuesday, January 14, 2025, Haywood County Schools will be Closed due to secondary road conditions, black ice, and school bus turnarounds refreezing. This will be a Remote Learning Day for students and an Optional Teacher Workday for staff.
