In April of 2006 Chloe was diagnoised with Cancer. Chloe has remained cancer free since her 2.5 years of treatment began. She is now a college student at Stark State College who plans to study nursing. Chloe and my daughters Ashlyn are childhood best friends who are still friends today. They met in Kindergarten. It is my honor, as one of the original founders of Chloe's Characters 4 Kidz, along wi
th Chloe's mom Jaclyn, to share with you that we are bringing our page back to life. We are also working towards becoming at 501c3 nonprofit organization. I, Traci, am a 1st Grade teacher at St. Peter Catholic School and we will be collecting character band-aids for the Showers Clinic for Oncology and Blood Disorders at Akron Children's Hospital. Chloe, like most kids, loved to get the "fun pretty" band-aids when she would get poked during all of her appointments. Renee', the family care support person has shared with us that the children love our bandaid selections that we donate. We would also like to share with other clinics and offices as donations allow. What can you do to help?
*First and foremost, pray for the families that are affected by cancer and blood disorders, as well as the nurses and doctors that are charged with their care.
*You can also donate bandaids. They can be dropped of at St. Peter Catholic School during the week. I would also be happy to pick them up from you if you are close to Canton, OH.
*You can also make a monetary donation to -Modlin (Venmo) or $tracimodlin (cash app). We are working towards filing our 501c3 paperwork and building a website. These will cost about $240 to get going. Thank you for your support of some pretty great kids who deserve some "fun pretty" band-aids. Thank you for your support,
