💛 What a great day it was on Wednesday at the Canton Helpline Food Pantry!

A HUGE thank you to Consigli Construction, the team building the Town of Canton’s new middle school, for jumping in to help unload more than 7,500 pounds of food from the Greater Boston Food Bank!

We also want to thank Canton Public Schoolss and Superintendent Derek Folan, who jumped right in and lent a hand!

A special shout-out to our amazing Canton Helpline Food Pantry volunteers and Director, who give their time and energy week after week to help make sure this food reaches our neighbors who need it most.

So many helping hands making a difference in our community. We are truly grateful!💛

💛 **Remembering Janet Pratt** 💛

The Canton Area Helpline mourns the passing of **Janet Pratt**, who passed away on **July 26, 2026**.

Janet served as President and as a long-serving Board Director of the Canton Area Helpline. For many years, she generously gave her time, compassion, and dedication to helping others in our community.

Her commitment to the Helpline and the people we serve made a lasting difference. We are incredibly grateful for her years of service and for the care she showed to so many.

Our heartfelt condolences go to Janet’s family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.

Janet will always be remembered as an important part of the Canton Area Helpline family. **Her dedication and years of service helped shape the Canton Area Helpline into the organization it is today, and her impact will continue to be felt for years to come.**

Rest in peace, Janet. You will be deeply missed. 💛

Donations can be dropped off at these businesses during normal business hours.

Abington Bank (Cobb Corner)
Canton Public Library (786 Washington St)
Canton Cooperative Bank (671 Washington St)
Conway Realtors (516 Washington St)
Pratt Realtors (1475 Washington St)
Shaw’s (Cobb Corner – front entrance)
The Bank of Canton (557 Washington St / 259 Turnpike St)

Donations can also be made at the Canton Food Pantry Mondays between 8:00 am-9:30 am or by appointment by calling 781-821-8062 or emailing [email protected].
