Due to the increased demand we are seeing throughout our community, we will be moving all warming shelter operations to Dueber Elementary beginning tomorrow, Thursday 1/29.

We are asking that everyone share this info throughout our community. Anyone needing transportation can take SARTA route 113 or call Canton City Dispatch after regular hours at 330.649.5800.

Thank you to St. Paul AME for opening your doors to those in need. We truly appreciate your partnership. Our warming shelters have truly been a community effort with so many pitching in to do their part!

CANTON: We know that many families are struggling to meet their basic needs right now. We are opening our in-school pantry to our community to help. If you are a family with young children in the area that may be in need, please stop by. We are also opening emergency spots in our preschool for families whose children could benefit from:

- Three meals a day
- Referral to wrap-around services, including social programs for adult family members
-A village of caring people who look out for one another

In the EELA family, we take care of each other and connect families to life-saving resources. Please feel free to stop by if you need food or a village to lean onโ€” we are here to help.

*IF YOU ARE ABLE TO DONATE, please comment down below or reach out VIA email. We are expecting higher need for our pantry and want to assist as many families in our community as possible. Tax forms can be provided for donations.
