Being a parent and supporting your child’s mental health comes with challenges and complexities. In 2024, it can be even more confusing with the added layer of the digital world young people are growing up in. Technology is ever-present for youth, affecting their mental health. It comes with online comparison, loneliness, complex dynamics of body image and self-perception, and many other things.
For parents, knowing what children are now struggling with in a digital world is hard, and being able to address it and provide support is essential.

Nimisilla Park Neighborhood Association (NPNA)

Established May 2019, the Nimisilla Park Neighborhood Association (NPNA) was organized for the benefit of each person who resides within the neighborhood. The historical Nimisilla Park is an important part of the surrounding neighborhoods and happens to be located within the geographical boundaries of NPNA and provided the inspiration for the name of the association. The common goal and mission of the association is to help ensure that each resident and neighbor lives in a safe, clean, and thriving neighborhood. Monthly meetings will be open to any resident who wishes to participate. These meetings will be used for the purpose of sharing ideas and to organize strategies that will bring about positive change for the neighborhood.
