The Falls and The Manor of Mill Creek Community

The Mill Creek Board of Directors wishes to make the public aware of the following two dates:

1. Charles Heiser Jr. of Stonecrest Homes will present his revised plan for the proposed development of the land parcel across from the Falls. This is a public participation meeting and all residents are encouraged to attend.

2. The Cherokee County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing where citizens can voice their concerns or opposition to the project. Individuals who want to speak must get to the meeting a little early to sign up.

It has been noted that there was a request for postponement - that does NOT mean that there's no hearing tonight!

The request for postponement granted or denied AT THE HEARING so those parties interested in offering opinions on the proposed re-zoning for different use and denser development on this property at East Cherokee Drive, SHOULD COME TONIGHT.

Individuals who wish to speak must arrive a little early to put their name on a list, but each speaker is limited to 3 minutes.

Today as schools return to session in Cherokee County, please be aware of the risks that are created to youth which at times need to be walking around vehicles parked on streets and kids running between vehicles to/from buses. School bus drivers also have a challenge in some areas trying to get through when multiple vehicles are parked across from each other. Please remind people to not park in streets.

Vehicles parked in streets can be towed by law enforcement or even pushed out of the way by emergency vehicles.

The community can, and will, issue fines for violations of the governing documents including the rules on street parking (Initial Use and Restrictions Rules).

Fines are not wanted by anyone but a safe and great community are!

The Manor pool is now open, after being closed yesterday evening for a pump failure repair, for use by all members in good standing.

The Manor pool is closed until further notice while the pool company deals with a mustard algae issue. Please use the Falls pool for now.

Please disinfect any floats, toys, etc. that have been used in that pool and before using those in the Falls pool to prevent cross-contamination.

The Manor pool is CLOSED until further notice due to a pump related failure & severe water loss. May be until tomorrow for water to rise enough for filters to work so the facility can be re-opened. Until then, please use the Falls pool!
