August picked up at SRPC, and we’re praising God for it. Our parenting classes, fatherhood classes, and ultrasound appointments have been full, and we’re seeing families encouraged, equipped, and strengthened. Every visit is a chance to speak life, offer hope, and remind parents they’re not alone. Thank you for praying, sharing, and supporting this ministry.

July brought a gentle lull to SRPC, and we’re grateful. Even in slower seasons, God is at work—giving us space to breathe, prepare, and refocus before the next wave of ministry. And He knew what was coming. August has already opened with full days, full hearts, and full schedules as we serve more families than ever.
We’re thankful for every client who walked through our doors in July, and we’re praising God for the increase we’re seeing now. His timing is perfect, His provision steady, and His plans always bigger than ours.

Knowing that we are prayed for every single night—our staff, our moms and dads, our classes, our clothing room, our conversations, our decisions—means more than words can hold. It’s a covering we feel. It’s a reminder that we are not doing this work alone.

Because what happens at Spoon River Pregnancy Center is so much more than parenting classes.
It’s hope being rebuilt.

It’s families being strengthened.
It’s hearts being encouraged.
It’s the quiet, holy work of showing up for people right where they are.

When I worked at the hospital and would say, “it’s quiet around here” the nurses would practically tackle me to the ground and then it would happen…and it was never good 🤦🏻‍♀️ NOW when I say, “it’s quiet around here” and we get hit with phone calls & walk-in’s, it’s a wonderful thing!! ♥️
