Freedom Summer
June 21, 1964

James Chaney, Michael Schwerner, and Andrew Goodman were were murdered by the Ku Klux Klan because they volunteered to help African-Americans in Mississippi register to vote.

Fifty years later, we honor the sacrifice of these three men, their fellow Freedom Summer volunteers, and all those who have fought, and are still fighting for, civil rights and voting rights.

We ask Nissan to honor Chip Wells, a veteran of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, by giving him his back pay from when they discriminated against him for union activity.
