This is still one of my favorites!! Bernard had told me that when he was in High School he would dream of “just once, not finishing last.” At the CAK race two years ago today, Bernard finished FIRST in his age group thanks to Todd and our team. Yes, God called Bernard home to run his 10,000 miles in Heaven. But his race isn’t over. Bernard’s legacy will live on in countless individuals who, inspired by his achievements, now believe that anything is possible with God. I am grateful that with God the funeral is not the finish. 🧡
