🚨 FIELD CLOSURE – SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 20 🚨

Due to the significant amount of rain and standing water on the fields, all fields will be closed beginning with the 12:30 PM games today, Sunday, September 20.

Unfortunately, the fields have taken on too much water to safely continue play without causing additional damage.

📸 TEAM PICTURES: Any teams that were scheduled for picture on/after 12:30 has been postponed. Look for information on the reschedule date coming soon.

We also have some existing field damage from golf cart traffic that we will be addressing later.

We apologize for the disruption and appreciate everyone’s understanding.

Hi all,

We’re going to cancel tonight’s training.

We’ve got kids in lockdown, parents stuck at work, and while it looks like the storm may pass, the forecast is warning that this type of front can escalate quickly. On top of that, our fields are currently holding enough water to qualify as small lakes. 🌧️💦

Rather than roll the dice, we’re going to play it safe and call it for tonight.

🚨 TRAINING UPDATE — WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2 🚨

Hello Canton Soccer Club Families,

Yesterday’s conditions had us right on the borderline of postponing training. Unfortunately, today’s temperature + humidity combination exceeds the recommended limits outlined in the Category 2 heat guidelines we follow. 🌡️☀️

For that reason, ALL Canton Soccer Club training sessions scheduled for TODAY are POSTPONED.

👉 THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 3: Teams scheduled to train tomorrow should plan to TRAIN AS NORMAL. We’ll continue monitoring conditions and will communicate any changes.

We know schedule changes can be frustrating, but when it comes to our players and coaches, safety always comes first. ❤️
