GiGi's Playhouse Canton Every day, GiGi’s Playhouse changes lives by providing free, life-changing therapeutic, educational and career training programs for individuals of all ages.

We change lives through consistent delivery of free educational, therapeutic-based and career development programs for individuals with Down syndrome of all ages through a replicable playhouse model. GiGi’s Playhouse is the only international network of Down Syndrome Achievement Centers, with over 57 brick and mortar locations across the United States and Mexico and 200 inquiries to start new locations all over the world. Sienna’s story with GiGi’s Playhouse began before she was even born! When her mom, Sherry, was five months pregnant, she walked into our Playhouse after learning that her baby would be born with Down syndrome. After discovering GiGi's Playhouse and attending a volunteer orientation to get more information and get involved, Sienna's family have been regulars ever since.

We’re so thankful that Sienna’s family found their way to GiGi’s Playhouse, where they could find the support, resources, and community they deserve. Since her arrival, Sienna has become a vibrant part of our Playhouse family, bringing smiles, laughter, and a spirit of curiosity to every program!

Watching Sienna grow has been an absolute joy. Every giggle, every milestone, and every new adventure reminds us why our community is so special. We are incredibly grateful for Sienna and her family and the light they bring to our Playhouse!

Sienna is a beautiful reminder of what it means to See the Person, Not the Label. She is so much more than a diagnosis, and we love celebrating the unique personality, abilities, and joy she brings to our community!

Learning looks different for everyone and that's something to celebrate! At GiGi's Playhouse, our school-age programs give participants opportunities to learn new skills, build confidence, and make connections while having fun! From literacy and math to fitness, art, and more, there is something for everyone! Come learn and grow with us!

Here's what's happening for ages 6-12:

💙 GiGiFIT Kids - Every Wednesday (Next Session: October 14th 5:30pm-6:30pm)

💛Destination Discovery - Every 2nd and 4th Thursday (Next Session: October 22nd 6:00pm-7:00pm)

💙 Art Explosion- Every 1st and 3rd Thursday (Next Session: October 15th 5:30pm-6:30pm)

💛 Literacy and Math Tutoring (Current Session runs until Dec. 12) ** Keep an eye out for Spring Sign ups towards the end of Dec. or early Jan.

💙 Speech and OT (Current Session runs until Dec. 11)

✨ BEST OF ALL ✨ Mallory

If anyone can light the room up with a smile, it is Mallory. Her kind spirit and caring nature speak volumes about the beautiful young lady she has become.

Mallory first walked through the doors of GiGi's Playhouse Canton in 2019. What began as her first experience with our Playhouse community has grown into years of learning, connection, friendship, and personal growth. Over the years, Mallory has jumped into so many program opportunities. She has participated in GiGi's Kitchen (both the Kids class and now the Teen class), our first Dance pilot, GiGiFIT, one-on-one literacy and math tutoring, and most recently, Art Explosion!

Through each of these programs, Mallory has continued to explore new interests, build skills, challenge herself, and share her sweet personality with those around her. And she isn't slowing down anytime soon! Most recently, Mallory also took on an exciting new role by joining our GenerationG Youth Board as an ambassador and self-advocate! Through this opportunity, she is stepping into a leadership role, using her voice, sharing her experiences, and helping promote the GenerationG fundamentals of being accepting, generous, and kind.

We had a little extra time to let the excitement percolate… ☕️😉 The Belden Village 7 Brew opening is finally here TOMORROW!

The countdown took a bit longer, but we are excited to be the charitable partner for this event and to support a community partner that believes in cultivating kindness. Please join us for the ribbon cutting ceremony and check presentation on Monday, October 12th at 11:30am!

Can you believe our Trunk or Treat is TOMORROW?!

This is your reminder to grab your costume and something to collect ALL that candy!

Our wonderful volunteers are ready to show off their decorated trunks and hand out plenty of yummy treats. We can’t wait to see you at the Playhouse on Saturday, October 10th from 1:00–2:30 PM!

Come dressed up, bring your candy bag, and get ready for some Halloween fun!
