Stark County Ski Club Stark County Ski Club, located in Canton, Ohio, was formed in 1982 by a few employees at Timken

Stark County Ski Club is a fraternal organization interested in promoting the interests of skiing and snowboarding, and encouraging fellowship. SCSC arranges numerous ski trips every season -- running the gamut from 1-day trips to Pennsylvania and New York to multi-week trips in Europe. Over the years, the Club has offered trips to many western ski resorts such as Vail, Aspen, Crested Butte, Tellu

ride, Steamboat Springs, and The Summit (Colorado), Big Sky (Montana), Mammoth and Lake Tahoe (California), Sun Valley (Idaho), Jackson Hole (Wyoming), Mt. Bachelor (Oregon), and Canadian resorts such as Banff, Panorama and Whistler. In addition, the Club organizes overseas trips to ski resorts in France, Italy, Spain, and Switzerland.

Remembering and Honoring Our Heroes 🇺🇸✨
Today, the Stark County Ski Club pauses to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Their courage and selflessness allow us to enjoy the freedom, community, and beautiful landscapes we hold so dear.
While we love looking forward to our next adventures on the slopes and trails, today is all about looking back with deep gratitude.
To all our members, families, and neighbors in Stark County—have a safe, meaningful, and reflective Memorial Day.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the incredible ski moms, bonus moms, grandmas, and mother figures who help make our club feel like family! 💐🎿

Thank you for the patience during the learning curves, the encouragement after the wipeouts, the early mornings, late nights, endless snacks, packed gear bags, and the love you pour into every adventure. From teaching us how to strap in, to cheering us on from the lodge, your support never goes unnoticed.

You’ve survived the ski antics, forgotten gloves, questionable parking lot changing techniques, après-ski stories, and “just one more run” negotiations — and somehow still keep showing up with a smile.

Here’s to the moms who help us grow, laugh, learn, and make memories both on and off the slopes. Wishing you a day filled with love, relaxation, and maybe even a little time off the mountain. ❤️⛷️🏔️

Don't forget to get these marked on your calendars! We have our meeting on April 21st at Tim's Tavern in Canton, 5:30PM for Social Hour and 6:30 PM for our regular business meeting.

And just a few days afterwards an amazing game night with Euchre and other board and card games. Make sure you RSVP for the Euchre night, and brings one tasty snacks! If you want to be a part of the Euchre tournament, there's a player's fee of $5, where $3 of that goes back to the winner(s)
