Canton Area Buddy Walk The Buddy Walk® was established in 1995 by the National Down Syndrome Society to celebrate Down Syndr

The Canton Area Buddy Walk is designed as both a local fundraiser and a community event. The emphasis is not on the actual walking, but on bringing families together to enjoy a fun filled day while also raising funds to further opportunities for those within the Down Syndrome community. Monies raised from this event will go directly support individuals and families with Down Syndrome through programming and activities, tutoring, adoption assistance and more.

TAKE NOTE - if you’re coming to Dogwood from the south on Saturday, part of Main St in front of the old Hoover factory and City Hall will be closed, so plan to detour around this area

⚠️NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSURE 9/27 FOR NEW BERLIN FESTIVAL:⚠️

Please be aware of a road closure beginning this Saturday, Sept. 27 from 7:00 AM-9:00 PM for the North Canton Area Chamber of Commerce's New Berlin Festival. The event will take place that day from 12:00-7:00 PM in the Downtown Square area.

🚧 Main Street will be closed from Charlotte St. NE to Maple St., with Maple St. remaining fully open to traffic in both directions.

A friendly reminder that while we're excited to celebrate North Canton's German roots & kick off the fall season together, this event is organized by the Chamber, so be sure to check out their Facebook event page for all the details - German-inspired food & drinks, live Polka music, and so much more! 🍻🎶🥨
