Stone (aka Precious)

With a heavy heart I'm posting that this beautiful young lady continues to test Positive for FELV. 😿 She is such a sweetheart and just loves to purr and be close to someone. She would do well in a home as an only cat with someone who has time to spend with her, or maybe with another FELV cat. If you or anyone you know are interested, please message us. We are committed to finding Precious a great home that will give her the life she deserves. I'll be very particular as this cat needs a special home.

Emerald and Squawk.

We knew these kittens were out there but Mom wasn't bringing them around. When she finally brought them to the feeding station, this crazy Georgia weather and other circumstances worked against us getting them. Thank You Happy Tears Feline Foundation for committing to rescue. These kittens are beautiful and now in good hands. They were S\N'd and vetted today. If anyone would like to help with their vetting it would be soooo appreciated!

Operation Ice Storm Kittens!

Sometimes timing is everything. We received a message about 3 kittens living under a shed. I contacted my trapping partners and with the impending storm we had to try to save these kittens from enduring the elements. We caught 2 of them Weds. and the 3rd was caught Thursday Eve. Whew!

We will TNR Mom after the weather breaks. In addition, over 130lbs. of food was distributed to colony feeders in the Canton area along with some straw added to shelters.

Stay safe and warm everyone. Do what you can to help the animals get thru this weather event.

Sweet Stone (aka Cherish) might not be in her forever home for Christmas, but she is loved and safe for the Holidays. She will never have to worry about being warm or hungry or facing the dangers of a life on the streets again.

As we move into the colder months these community cats need us. Meet Stone. She was rescued off the streets of Canton along with her orange sister, River, who has already found a loving home. They were found by CSCTNR partners while doing TNR and feeding stray cats. Stone is not ready for her forever home yet and her path is yet to be determined. But I do know she is in good hands and her future is brighter than living her life on the streets. Stone got lucky but there are hungry cats that we can help. Any food items received off the wishlist will go to feeding some hungry cats!

Wow. Smoke, Smudge, and Smooch. A story worth sharing!
These guys have had quite a journey already in their young lives. More details in previous posts so I'll try pick up from there. Smudge had been adopted, and Smoke and Smooch were on transport to Vermont. Smudge's adopter reached out to me, and we determined that him coming back was best. No fault of his or the adopter it was just best for Smudge. Within a day the accident happened, and Smoke and Smooch were returned to me.
They were all happy to be reunited and my goodness these guys were special. Off to adoptions we go yesterday hoping for the best. A very nice and kind lady saw them and feel in love but was looking for 2 kittens. After some conversation about which 2 might be best fit and hearing their story, she decided they needed to stay together and adopted all 3 of them!!!!! She has already sent me updates that they are happy, playing, and snuggling next to her purring.

We had 2 kittens on the Furkids Animal Rescue and Shelters transport van that was involved in the accident on I85N. Smoke and Smooch are back with me, doing great, and are reunited with their brother Smudge! The 2 kittens that were taken for medical have been released, but 2 kittens are still missing.

Please pray for those that lost their lives in this horrific accident.
