Stark Community Jaycees The Jaycees General Membership Meetings are held the third Wednesday. The JCI Vision
To be the leading global network of young active citizens.

The Stark Community Jaycees are a part of JCI Ohio, JCI USA and Junior Chamber International. The Jaycees provides young people between the ages of 18 and 40 the tools they need to build the bridges of success for themselves in the areas of business development, management skills, individual training, community service, and international connections. Established in 1920 to provide opportunities for young men to develop personal and leadership skills through service to others, the Jaycees later expanded to include women, reflecting the growing influence and leadership of women in America. For the past 100 years, Jaycees have been a force for good in America and around the world. Jaycees helped establish airmail services in America with Jaycee Charles Lindbergh, and have raised millions of dollars for causes such as the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the March of Dimes. They have built parks, playgrounds, hospitals, ball fields, and housing for the elderly while conducting service and support programs in thousands of communities nationwide. Jaycees can be found in all walks of life: governmental leaders such as President Bill Clinton and past President Gerald Ford, business tycoons such as Domino’s Pizza mogul Tom Monaghan, registered nurse and former Miss America Kaye Lani Rae Rafko-Wilson, Sports heroes like basketball great Larry Bird – name the field and Jaycees can be found at the forefront. With the focus of the nation on volunteerism, from the smallest towns to the largest cities, the Jaycees are enlarging areas of opportunity for young people. The JCI Mission
To provide development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change.

Part 2

Man was that fun!!! Safety town 2026 was a huge success. Roughly 30 kids who are getting ready to start kindergarten for 4 days and they learned sooo much.

We got to tour:
an ambulance 🚑
a firetruck 🚒
a school bus 🚌
and a cop car 🚔

We learned about fire safety and burn prevention, stranger danger and dog safety, and how and when to call 911.

We learned why booster seats and bike helmets are so important, and everyone got to take home their own brand new bike helmets.

We also learned how to be safe around the water, how to avoid choking and suffocation risks, and about poison and medication safety.

These little troopers asked so many amazing questions and soaked up so much information and we are so proud of them all.

Thank you to church for hosting us and for all of their volunteers who lended a hand.

Thank you to captain Gary for helping organize this event every year and the whole North Canton crew that came to visit during this time.

And a huge shout out to the parents for trusting us with your kids for a week and for making sure they were all so prepared to come in and learn every day.

Can't wait til next year.

North Canton!!!

We want to say thank you to everyone who came out to our 4th of July parade to help celebrate America's 250th.

We set a goal of raising 1776 lbs of food for the Stark County Hunger Task Force and we asked for our community to support us and boy did you all show up!

Between physical donations and monetary donations we raised 5742lbs of food to help our neighbors in need!!! That's nothing short of amazing y'all!!

Keep an eye out for other Stark Community Jaycees events. And if you're interested in getting involved reach out, we would love to have you on our team!
