An extra shoutout to our partners at Marathon Petroleum Corporation who this past week organized another great Marathon Field Day for Stark County students! The event brought together many different employers from across Stark County, engaging hundreds of students over the course of two days. Stark County is full of in-demand jobs, and we are grateful for your support in making these connections!

In this Stark Career Pathway Explorer video, students get a real look at careers in media through our partner MCTV, where creativity meets communication. From producing local stories to operating equipment and engaging with the community, MCTV showcases how diverse and exciting careers in broadcasting can be right here in Stark County.

“What’s Your E?”

It’s a question high schools are asking to help students think about their future. Whether they are Enrolled in college or a trades program, Enlisted in the armed forces, or Employed and ready to enter the workforce after graduation.

Sometimes, our mentees aren’t sure what their “E” is yet…and that’s okay.

At East Canton High School, this group of mentees had the opportunity to connect with “Visiting Mentors” who showed them what their futures could look like.

A huge round of applause to our friends at Stark Education Partnership, Marathon Petroleum Corporation, Air Force One Headquarters, and Leadership Stark County for showing up, and sharing your knowledge and expertise to help these students find their E.

It truly takes a community to support and guide our youth, and we are grateful for every person who pours into their journey.
