“That No School Child Shall Miss School For Need of Shoes or Clothing.” This is the motto the Canton Ex-Newsboys stand by! The Canton Ex-Newsboys Association was founded in 1960 as a 100% charitable organization. One hundred percent of donations go to purchase shoes and clothing. Stark County children, ages kindergarten through 12th grade, are the recipients of this great charity. Each December, i
ts members publish and sell an annual newspaper as a means of fundraising for the organization. The production and printing of the charity newspaper is provided by The Repository. Watch for the Canton Ex-Newsboys hawking the streets with the charity edition and make a donation. Since 1960, the Canton Ex-Newsboys have provided more than $4.2 million in coats, shoes and other clothing to the needy children of Stark County. More than 55,800 children have been recipients of the Ex-Newsboys efforts. Become a member of the Canton Ex-Newsboys! For only $30 per year, members dues cover all administration fees of the organization, ensuring that all donations go directly to the children in need. Officers and Trustees for 2023:
