We’re grateful to have played a part in this transformation and to help bring hope and support to a neighbor in need. This week, our team had the pleasure of working at Johns home in Canton where we built a handrail for the back patio door and added two sturdy handrails to the basement steps, along with a gate system to make those stairs safer. We also fixed a loose handrail on the staircase, installed a grab bar in the shower, and replaced the closer on the back screen door. To help keep everyone safe, we installed two new smoke detectors courtesy of the American Red Cross of Northern Ohio, one upstairs and one in the basement. We left knowing the home was much safer, and it was wonderful to see how appreciative John was of our help!

Our team had a great day working at a Canton home! We installed a sturdy handrail on the front steps to make coming and going safer and easier. We also fixed both screen doors with parts from our shop, so they now open and close smoothly. We did every repair with care, because we know how much these little things matter for feeling safe and comfortable at home.

In our recent collaboration, ProVia generously helped us secure three windows for our homeowner, Rosemary. For Rosemary, this act of kindness was more than a home repair; it reminded her that God sees her and cares for her, even when she has felt overlooked in the past. That’s why the ramp we installed meant so much; it opened the door to doctor’s appointments, errands, and a world beyond their front steps.
