Impact Canton was a success! 🏠

Thanks to our volunteers and donors, we were able to make an impact on the homes and families of 19th St NE this past weekend. In all, we were able to beautify ELEVEN homes because of the generosity of our community and the power of coming together to make a difference.

It was a truly inspiring and impactful day!

We are seeking our next Healthy Neighborhoods Program Manager to operate our various programs for homeowners including our Code Enforcement Repair Program, Exterior Renovation Grant Program, and the Stark County Neighborhood Partnership Program.

This is an exempt, full-time position. Must possess strong skills in community development strategy and budget management.

Our Homeownership Resource Fair is less than a few weeks away! 🏠

This event is for those looking to purchase a home in the Stark County area. Guests will have the chance to speak directly with lenders and realtors from the area and get their homebuying questions answered in a relaxed environment.

One lucky winner who attends the fair will be going home with 5 tickets to see the Pro Football Hall of Fame Grand Parade up close and personal in August. 🏈

We are also giving away several door prizes that have been generously provided by the lenders and realtors participating in this event.

Join us for our Neighborhood Network event taking place on June 11th!

This is a new event that was created with the goal of bringing Stark County residents together to discuss topics that are important to them. Things such as improving our neighborhoods, connecting with neighbors, and keeping our neighborhoods clean and safe are just a few of the topics you can expect to hear about at our Neighborhood Networking events.

Our guest speaker this month is Jim Knight from the Stark County Prosecutor’s Office. Jim will be sharing valuable tips and strategies for preventing crime in your neighborhood. You won't want to miss his presentation! 📝

Update!

19th Street NE, from Rowland Ave NE to Maple Ave NE, will be CLOSED on Saturday, June 6 from 7am-4pm for Impact Canton. Staff and volunteers will be onsite to guide local traffic in and out of their homes safely.
