🏆 Congratulations Cassee!

A big round of applause for Cassee, who earned 3rd Place in the Division C Humorous Speech Contest!

Her speech, “Alchemy and Aviation Don't Mix,” gave a hilarious historical twist to “Hold my beer!”—or in this case, “Hold my whiskey!”

With a witty tale of King James IV, John Damian, and their ambitious attempts to turn lead into gold and conquer human flight, Cassee entertained us with clever storytelling and plenty of laughs!

Way to go, Cassee! 👏

Yesterday's Area 34 Humorous Speech and Table Topics contest was a great success! 🎉

Our very own Cassee took first place🥇 in the Humorous Speech Contest. And Cora placed second🥈 in Table Topics. Way to go Club 637 Toastmasters! We're so proud of you! 💪

This week, Canton public Speaking Club had the privilege to listen to not one, but ✨ two ✨ Ice Breaker speeches from our newest members!

First up was Bailey, who delivered a fun and introspective Ice Breaker that touched on her speaking goals as a Toastmaster. 😄 She had all of us laughing and nodding along, and we can't wait to hear more from her!

Next was Josef, our newest member - taking the plunge 🏊 to deliver his Ice Breaker after only two weeks of membership! 🤯 He gave the club insight into what he hopes to gain from Toastmasters, both personally and professionally. We know he has greatness ahead!

Also, shout-out to Holly, who stepped into the Evaluator role for the first time this week! 🥇

We mean it when we say the Canton Public Speaking Club had a busy month! 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏾

Josef officially joined Toastmasters Canton Public Speaking Club two weeks ago and he has a goal to speak more confidently. He's jumping right in - he's scheduled to give his Ice Breaker speech tonight! 💪

Josef, we are so excited to have you as a member of our club! And we're all looking forward to your first speech - we know you're going to do great! 🏆
