The Junior League of Stark County has long believed that education happens both inside and outside the classroom.

Leadership training has always been central to the League’s mission, not just volunteer hours. Many members developed skills through League service that carried into careers and civic leadership.

In the 2000s, The Junior League of Canton rebranded as The Junior League of Stark County following to shift from a city-focused impact to expand to The Stark County area.
Today we continue our efforts throughout Stark County.

Looking back at our involvement with Habitat for Humanity Women Build in the early 2000s reminds us that the power of women coming together can create lasting change.

We’re proud to have continued that tradition by supporting Habitat Women Build over the past three years—helping build more than houses, but hope, opportunity, and a strong foundation for future women homeowners.

Together, we’re building stronger communities, one home and one family at a time.

🍎 August is Kids Eat Right Month™—a time dedicated to supporting children’s nutrition and overall well-being. The Junior League of Stark County continues to champion programs that help families learn about healthy eating and make nutritious choices more accessible for all. Our Kids in the Kitchen classes help kids learn about nutrition and food preparation.
