🇵🇸 For an orphaned child, a day held together by care and routine can feel like safety.

Between September 20th and 30th, HDF gave orphaned children across Gaza meals, Qur’an lessons, and emotional support, steady care that keeps their days from falling apart.

Every child deserves someone looking out for them; that’s only possible because of your continued support 💙❤️

🇸🇩 Her smile in Sudan started with you.

Every day this month, HDF’s team in Sudan has cooked and served 1,000 hot meals to displaced families, made fresh with rice, meat, and clean water and handed over one tray at a time. From October 1st to 7th, that meant mothers carrying their little ones, elders on walking sticks, and children holding dinner with both hands. The next morning, the team started again.

Behind every meal is one idea: each one, feed one.

🍲 $10 serves one hot meal
🍲 $100 serves 10 hot meals
🍲 $1,000 feeds 100 people for a full day

“And they give food, despite their love for it, to the poor, the orphan, and the captive.” (Qur’an 76:8)

🇵🇸 Urgent health needs don’t wait for a better moment, and neither do the medical teams answering them.

Between September 20th and 30th, HDF’s medical teams reached families across Gaza with consultations and treatment, responding to health needs as they came up, day after day.

Care at this pace is only possible because of your continued support 💙❤️

🇰🇪 Looking after an orphan means paying attention to their health too, not only their meals and their schooling.

On 13th September, HDF carried out individual health assessments for 50 orphans in Korogocho, giving us a clearer picture of each child’s wellbeing and reinforcing why regular checkups matter.

Every child deserves someone watching out for them; that’s only possible because of your support 💙💚

🇵🇸 Showing up to learn is its own kind of resilience, and the children of Gaza do it every day.

Between September 20th and 30th, HDF kept classrooms open across Gaza, giving children a place to come back to, a routine to hold onto, and the chance to keep learning.

A classroom still standing is a promise kept to a child; that’s only possible because of your continued support 💙❤️
