🎓 The Illinois Fraternal Order of Police is now accepting applications for the 2026 ILFOP Scholarship Program!

Each year, the ILFOP awards $9,000 in scholarships to college students whose parents are members of the Illinois Fraternal Order of Police in good standing.

A total of 18 scholarships will be awarded, with one applicant selected at random from each of the 18 representative FOP districts in Illinois. Each recipient will receive $500 to help with college expenses.

✅ Applicants must submit:
• Completed scholarship application
• Proof of registration for the upcoming fall semester
• Acceptable proof includes a registrar notice, class schedule, or tuition payment receipt

📅 Application deadline: Monday, August 31, 2026

The scholarship drawing will be held during the September 10, 2026 ILFOP Full Board of Trustees meeting. Winners will be notified by email within one week of the drawing.

Incomplete applications will not be included in the drawing.

We don’t just work in the Spoon River Valley; we live here, we raise our families here, and we are proud to protect it.

We had a fantastic time manning the phones, taking your pledges, and seeing the generosity of Central Illinois firsthand. A huge thank you to everyone who tuned into the broadcast and called our members to make a donation.
Your overwhelming support helps provide 100% inclusive physical, speech, occupational, and feeding therapy for children right here in our community. Giving back is at the heart of what we do, and we are so grateful to partner with such amazing organizations to empower local kids and families. 🚔🧸

🎶 Music Trivia Night 🎶

We’re having an amazing time tonight at Music Trivia at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Galesburg, all in support of the Deputy Nick Weist Memorial Scholarship Fund. 💙

Teams are battling it out with their music knowledge, and enjoying plenty of laughs! It’s all for a great cause that helps support local students in Nick’s memory.

Thank you to everyone who came out to play, donate, and show support. Your presence truly makes a difference. If you’re in the building, grab a drink, enjoy the fun, and don’t forget to get in on the 50/50 drawing!
