Last week, we worshipped with Death Was Arrested, Goodness of God, and Defender. 🎶🎵

We started off the night by having name tags on our backs with famous names on them, and everyone had to ask questions to figure out who they were.

Tony talked about identity - it is one of the main areas where we can come under attack. The enemy makes us feel entitled, deserving of more, and deprived of what we want; temptation strikes and we feel like we can sin. When we stumble, the enemy then mocks us as a failure and someone unworthy of God’s love.

God knows your struggles and He has overcome them, even if you are still in the midst of them. He invites you to be an overcomer through His strength. We need to allow His perspective and identity to shape our own.

On Wednesday, we worshiped with 1000 Tongues, Lead Me To The Cross, and Jesus Paid It All. 🎶🎵

Pastor Robbie talked about Ezekiel and how messengers of God don’t always just speak His word - they act God’s message out - it’s not always pretty, and it’s not always popular.

With repetition, we tend to act involuntarily and on “auto pilot.” This can happen with our faith journey if we are not careful. Our actions can leave an imprint without us realizing.

Pastor Robbie asked us three questions:
1. What message is your life sending today with your actions?
2. When was the last time you moved toward strange things to spread the Word of God?
3. Am I doing this to get applause or to do this for God?

Last week, we worshipped with Lion and the Lamb, Whom Shall I Fear, and Highlands. 🎶🎵

Pastor Robbie talked about truth and grace - we had an exercise where depending on a situation, we handled it with truth or grace. Truth without grace is harsh, and grace without truth is permissiveness. Truth together with grace is love - Jesus is equal parts, and He walked this line perfectly (John 1:14, John 8:9-11, Mark 10:21, John 4:25).

Our personalities want to lean toward truth or grace, not necessarily having both together. Are you giving yourself, your family, and your friends the same amount of grace as truth?

Last week, we worshipped with Glorious Day, More Like Jesus, and Broken Vessels. 🎵🎶

Pastor Tony preached out of Luke 10:25-37. Our group reenacted the parable of the Good Samaritan beautifully. Tony finished up with an exercise - he had everyone stand in a circle and he read aloud situations. If he said something that someone experienced, they stood in the center of the circle.

Everyone we encounter, whether we get along with them or not, carries something. Be the person who helps when someone is in need. Seek ways to share the love Jesus has shown to you.

Last Wednesday, we worshipped with Only King Forever, Sit Enthroned, and How Great Is Your Love. 🎵🎶

Tony preached out of Revelation 2 - Jesus isn’t asking us to feel enthusiasm, joy, and affection every moment of every day. His point is that the love we have for Him should be a pattern in our lives. Don’t focus on your feelings over Christ.

Our spiritual lives are like a potted plant - it doesn’t need water EVERY second, but still needs water to thrive. 🌱
