You may see the phrase “eligible for sharing” in your Liberty HealthShare membership. But what does it actually mean?

A medical expense which is eligible for sharing may be shared by the community according to the Sharing Guidelines and your program requirements.

It does not mean payment is guaranteed or that the full billed amount will be shared. Your Annual Unshared Amount, applicable co-share, sharing limits, fair and reasonable repricing, and other program requirements may still apply.

Knowing the terminology can make it easier to understand what to expect when a medical need arises.

If you’ve been at your desk for a while, take a minute to stand up, stretch, or walk around. It does not have to be a workout to count.

Sometimes a short movement break is enough to help reset your day.

What usually gets you out of your chair: a reminder, a meeting, or a coffee break?

Maybe it’s something you’re looking forward to, something you’ve been worried about, or simply a day with a lot on your mind.

“The LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” — Joshua 1:9

Whatever is ahead, you don’t have to have every answer before you face it. You can move forward knowing God is with you through the conversation, the decision, the unknown, and the ordinary moments in between.

Have you ever caught yourself wondering why someone else’s path looks different from yours?

Peter did too. After Jesus spoke to him about his own path, Peter turned his attention to John and asked what would happen to him.

Jesus brought the focus right back:

“What is that to you? You follow me.” — John 21:22

Comparison can pull our attention toward what God is doing in someone else’s life instead of where He is leading us. Pastor Wes Humble reflects on those three words, “You follow me,” and the reminder to keep our focus on Jesus.

Liberty HealthShare uses established parameters when determining whether a condition is considered pre-existing. How related expenses are handled can depend on your sharing program and length of continuous membership.
