A few showers are expected Monday, mainly east of I-35/35E. We're also watching for potential severe storms to the northwest of the Metroplex in the late afternoon and evening, generally after 5 pm. If any storms are able to develop, they will be capable of becoming severe with hail and damaging winds being the main threats.

05/10/2026

[Sun 5/10] After this morning's storms, the severe threat has lowered across much of North TX. The highest threat for large hail and damaging winds is primarily south and west of the DFW Metroplex where storms will organize into a line & move southeast through tonight.

An active Sunday (Mother's Day💐) is in store for us across the region as the potential for severe storms increases. While a few strong storms may develop this morning, the highest severe risk will be in the afternoon & evening.
Here's the latest information! Have a plan ready in case a warning is issued for your area.
