The Kitten League We're a group of passionate individuals dedicated to providing better futures for unwanted kittens. We operate solely on donations. We are a 501c3 organization.

This feature is two of our 2025 kitties.

Both Freddie and Rumi tried all the adoption resources, events, Petsmart adoption center but didn't find the right fit before they needed a little break.

These two have been fostermates since. Each the last of their litters...and both bringing their own unique set of traits to the party.
Rumi is sweet and saucy on her own timeline. A go-go girl who runs the circus!
Freddie is the tag-a-long, laid back, doesn't argue and a good sport.
These two are quite entertaining as they compliment each other well. Rumi needs a playmate and Freddie needs an emotional support cat.
Where Rumi is adventurous, silly, outspoken, Freddie is the diplomatic smooth talker, never making waves.
If you're looking for a pair that'll bring variety, entertainment but are beyond the kitten stage, this duo is perfect.

Help/suggestions needed!

We are about to start working on our 2027 calender, but we're in need of a photographer who's willing to donate 15-30 mins of their time and has a studio space.
The wonderful photographer, Kelcey Schroder Photography, who has done our cover the last two years has started a new chapter in her photography career and is unable to do this year's photo.
Our calender is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year.

Who's been looking for love in all the wrong places?

These brothers are some of the sweetest cats I've raised.

They came to me at 2 days old last Oct, beat some amazing odds and came out on top.

Geddes, or Hot Potato as he's affectionately called because he always feels so warm, is a floppy, lazy snuggle bug who loves any attention.
Gram, his little, but cubbier brother, is more of an ornamental rug, less ragdoll. He loves pets but prefers boots on the ground...he gets scared over gravitational pull🙄

These boys are easy going, laid back...mostly prefer to keep a spot warm and join you for a movie than exercise. However a random bug or wand toy and they come to life.

These boys are such a perfect pair. If you're a quiet single or couple wanting a squishy pair of cat pillows with more slow than go, check out these brothers.

What can we do to help find Berge the perfect family?

He's currently at the Petsmart East Playroom where you can meet him.

Berge is such an honest, stand up dude...enjoys the little things like a good pat, a quiet nap and cozy cat tree.
He's a fixture and we so want him to have his loving family. He's waited too long already.

I'd call him the Opie Taylor of cats; cute, fair skinned, freckled with his ginger hair but such good kid. He's kind, loving, mellow...we've been told too mellow. Is that a thing?
He prefers the relaxed life, never demanding or rude. He loves deep conversation and dim lights, a fluffy pillow and a churu on the side.

Berge is the ideal cat companion but that doesn't mean he's lacking in personality. His is just less kitten and more adult, but he loves finding bugs and mice on Cat TV!

Meet this colorful foursome that are the best little posers! Aren't they just picture purr-fect?

Lyla, Lola, Luna and Grayson were raised in a home where the mother was taken in while pregnant. They've been socialized with love and care since birth.
This group is funny, playful, snuggly...as much as teenagers are at this age. Poor Grayson is the only boy with three sisters and sometimes a good nap is all he wants!
You can't go wrong with any of these cuties.
They're are 3 1/2 mos old, fixed and ready to go. They'll entertain you and add so much joy to your life!

For those needing low cost alter options, please check out and support this local organization.

The Animal Resource Center of Hanson Family Foundation and Sioux Falls Area Humane Society are partnering to offer low cost spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations and microchips at the Pet Wellness Veterinary Hospital of Hanson Family Foundation 4600 E. 59th Street Sioux Falls, SD location.

The Sioux Falls SNIP clinics will be offered the second Tuesday of every month now through the end of the year. Appointments must be booked online at https://www.hffsd.org

We have four adorable options in various shades of ginger sweetness.
The Tack Room Palomino litter is down to 4 looking for their perfect homes.
Stella, the flamepoint Siamese mix and three buff siblings are very social, entertaining and full of star quality. They all have acrobatic play moves and yet a single bug can captivate them!

They enjoy cat TV, toys they can steal and carry and each other. Being a litter of 6, they'll need another cat companion in the home.

Another new pair ready for you to meet at our event today! Petsmart East 12-3pm.

Skipper and Tigger came as an ER transfer after their mother came in with severe limb trauma requiring costly surgery. The family was surrendered and now they're ready for the next step in their journey.
Momma is still healing but these brothers are rearin' to go!
Skipper and Tigger are very playful, energetic boys always on the go. They're in that wild and crazy little boy stage where curiosity and adventure are their priority.
If you're looking to liven up your life and get alot of love and laughs along the way, Skipper and Tigger are game for the opportunity.

Here's another Cutie ready for her new family.

Daphne wandered up to a rural jobsite early this summer. Luckily a foster family member was present and Daphne became part of The Kitten League family.

Daphne is a beautiful calico and full of star quality. She has a kind, loving demeanor that's full of curiosity.
She loves hunting on cat TV and playing wand and is affectionately called "Duck" because she's a little silly too.
Daphne and her foster brother, Dwayne, are a good match and make a wonderful pair.

It's time to start introducing a few more of our available kitties.

🪨Meet Dwayne🪨

He came as a sweet and social little stray who had the best personality right from the start.
Sadly these kitties often can't tell us where they're from or what they've experienced before we meet.
Dwayne is a little gentleman. He loves to play and wrestle, imagine that😉 but he's pretty professional about it. He's laid back and loving, kind of wise beyond his years.
He is also so handsome with his striking gray tabby coat and tuxedo trim and pretty green eyes!
If you have a cat missing a playmate and want a little cutie who'll entertain and be the best companion to both the cats and humans, Dwayne is ready to ROCK IT!
