Last Friday, a series of errors resulted in anomalies in the scoring of the Trail portion of the Pro Division's Horsemanship & Trail class, and we have taken steps to correct those errors in a manner that is fair and satisfactory to the Pro Trainers that were involved. A quick explanation is that last minute changes in the order of obstacles in the trail portion of the class were not updated in the judges' scorecards, causing several trainers to not get scored for all of the obstacles, which in turn skewed the results. Our judges have reviewed videos of each team's performance in the trail portion of the class and entered the missing scores. These corrections changed the placement of the Pro Division's Horsemanship & Trail class as follows:
1st place - Team Dallas
2nd place - Team Doc
3rd place - Team Pilgrim
4th place - Team Petra

The new scores in the Horsemanship & Trail class also impacted the outcome of the Pro Division Championship as follows:
Pro Champion - Team Petra, winning $5,000
Reserved Champions - TIE - Team Dallas & Team Doc, winning $3,000 each,
Third Place - Team Pilgrim, winning $1,500

The trainers worked too hard not to get the rewards and recognition they deserve and we regret any confusion that these errors may have caused. Once again, please congratulate our Champions and thank you all for your support of the Heart of the Horse Trainers Challenge!
