Today marks a big step for our young people as they officially begin the next chapter of their Project REBUILD journey!

After completing six weeks of Bootcamp, they’re back and ready to jump into the full program—building skills, earning certifications, working toward their education goals, and preparing for their next steps.

Bootcamp was just the beginning. Now, the real work—and the real growth—starts. We’re excited to see where this next chapter takes them!

Looking for a meaningful gap year, career-building opportunity, or way to give back to your community?

YBGSC is seeking an AmeriCorps VISTA Member to help expand partnerships, coordinate community resources, and strengthen the systems that connect people to education, training, support services, and employment opportunities. This is a chance to gain hands-on experience in community development, partnership building, research, project coordination, communications, and leadership while making a lasting impact.

AmeriCorps VISTA members receive a living allowance during their year of service and can choose an Education Award or End-of-Service Stipend upon successful completion of service, along with additional benefits and training opportunities.

We're not the only ones who think the young people we work with are pretty amazing. ❤️

A recent guest came expecting to spend a few minutes with our participants. Instead, he spent nearly 90 minutes in conversation because the discussions were just that good.

Thank you for seeing what we see every day: young people with potential, curiosity, resilience, and a genuine desire to build a better future. We're proud of our participants and grateful to community partners who take the time to invest in them.
