Last month at PNC Park, 52 Mentorship Academy graduates took a significant step in their careers. Signing Day is where the work becomes real.

These graduates are heading into roles with CNX and Academy partner organizations across the region, launching careers built on the relationships, mentorship, and hands-on experience they earned through the Academy.

The Academy’s support and relationships don't stop at graduation. Building tomorrow's workforce means staying in these students' corners for the long haul.

Thank you to our partner organizations for showing up for these students, including: UPMC, Deep Well Services, and our partners in the building trades the Carpenters, IBEW, and Operating Engineers Local 66. 🤝

When HAVIN, Inc discovered water damage at its facility caused by foundation issues, the problem threatened more than a building — it put at risk the shelter and services that survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault across Armstrong County depend on every day.

CNX is proud to continue its support of HAVIN with a $50,000 contribution funding the restoration and construction work needed to repair the damage and prevent future flooding. These funds were raised this June at CNX's annual golf outing.

This is micro-TIL — Tangible, Impactful, Local: recognizing a specific problem in a community we serve and delivering direct, practical support to fix it.

Today, several students who spent the past year building relationships, exploring career paths and preparing for what's next are signing on with CNX and Academy partner organizations — a milestone built on the region's commitment to its own talent.

From the Caring Carts program to healthcare career pathways through the The Mentorship Academy and UPMC/CNX M.O.V.E.S., CNX is investing directly in the patients, families, and future workforce of the Hillman community.

A family facing hardship was living with a bathroom that had become unusable. Through local partnership, that space was restored and made functional again—helping address an immediate household need in a practical, meaningful way.

It was a special night last Monday at PPG Paints Arena for the Pittsburgh Penguins’ annual Black History Game. 🏒

This year’s edition helped welcome the centennial celebration of Black History Month, and it marked our fourth consecutive year as Gameday Presenting Sponsor. The energy in the building matched the action on the ice, and it was special to celebrate Black excellence with our partners, colleagues, and friends.

Through our work with the Penguins, the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation, and community organizations across Western Pennsylvania, we’re pleased to recognize Black leaders and changemakers, elevate youth voices, and create tangible opportunities for the next generation—right here in Appalachia. This is in action.

CNX was proud to host nearly 200 leaders from across companies and industries in the Pittsburgh region to experience the game together and deepen relationships around community impact and opportunity.

Apollo-Ridge’s auditorium and band room are where big moments happen for students—but aging HVAC systems were making those spaces uncomfortable and inefficient.
