It has been 15 years since construction activity at the historic Roberts Stone House in Canonsburg.

Our team is now underway with an exterior repointing scope of work to repair the chimneys and also the brick portion of the house. Thank you Escajeda Masonry!!

History was made this morning and our team at the Washington County Cultural Trust could not be more honored!! 🇺🇸 🌳

The Roberts Stone House in Canonsburg, Pa has been selected as the location for the Washington County Liberty Tree, sponsored by America PA250 and the Pennsylvania Freemasons. There is only one tree planted in each county across the state of Pennsylvania and we are absolutely humbled that this tree will become the focal point of our historic venue.

A formal ceremony will take place in May of 2025, please join us on this very special day!

We're happy to be posting our introductory newsletter! This newsletter is packed full of information from where we started, where we are going, and our current progress in the restoration of the Robert's Stone House. You'll even find some interesting snippets of history! Lastly, there is some information on becoming a member of the WCCT. For $25 a year, you'll have first access of events and volunteer opportunities at the house. You'll also have the chance to come tour and visit the home as it progresses through our restoration.
