Last night after our stated meeting, we held an open Lodge for family and visitors with a re-enactment of the "Lincoln Degree". The "Lincoln Degree," often titled "The Last Full Measure," is a dramatic Scottish Rite Masonic degree (frequently the 26th degree in the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction) that explores the principles of brotherhood, duty, and the life of Abraham Lincoln. It serves as an educational and inspirational performance highlighting moral lessons.

During our last stated meeting at Chartiers Lodge 297 in Pa., the WM, and DDGM presented 60 year pins to a couple of worthy brothers who joined Freemasonry in 1966.

You can pay your dues by dripping it off at the lodge during a stated meeting, Sending it via mail, or paying online. There are instructions on how to pay your dues online in this months mailing.

Brethren, for those who may not have received the word. Drew Ross Manko, Junior Warden of Sunset Lodge #237, laid down his working tools this past week. A Masonic Funeral Service will be conducted on Monday evening September 22, 2025 at 730pm at Nichol Funeral Home.
Farewell my Brother.

Drew Edward Ross Manko of Eighty Four, PA passed away peacefully at home on his farm, his very favorite place on Earth, after a short illness. Drew was born May 2, 1995 to Amy Ross Phillips Manko and Wade Braden. He was adopted at age 12 by Scott A Manko,
