The Oak Creek Grade Volunteer Fire Department is having a FREE HOT DOG, “FUNDRAISER” on Sunday, May 25 (Memorial Day weekend) from 11:00 – 2:00, at the corner of Oak Creek Grade and the Grape Creek Access Road.
Please come and support us, either by volunteering with your help or donate and having a hot dog or two. Bring the family. We will be able to answer questions, and you can meet some of our newly certified firefighters.
The chefs are 5-star (minus 4 stars) lol, the ambiance is hopefully not too fiery, and you will be supporting a group of dedicated volunteers! You won't want to miss this event.
If you are unable to attend, don’t worry, you can still help us attain our urgent need for Personal Protective Equipment and the proper tools to make us a more effective firefighting force on this mountain. Wet Mountain Fire Protection District along with mutual aid agencies are fighting a structure fire on Fowler Road in the Bone Yard area. Despite strong winds the fire fighters were able to contain the fire. Fire fighters will be on scene as late as midnight.

Thank you WMFPD for inviting the Oak Creek Grade Volunteer Fire Department to assist with this incident. We look forward to working with you all whenever boots on ground is needed. Thank you for all your teams appreciation. Stay safe!!
