TIME: 12:00 be present

UNIFORM: VFW flight cap, or military or campaign hat. (Something to show military affiliation)

ITEMS TO BRING: personal water source and personal snacks/food and personal chair

We will have a canopy to escape the sunlight

I will mark our location with the national colors.

Thank you To our state representative Brittany Petersons office for reaching out to our Post this morning.

We proudly stand in solidarity with our Congresswoman and her efforts to support veterans. Our post would be honored to attend and support any veterans’ event to which we are invited by our elected officials.

VFW Post 4061 does not take political sides. Our purpose in public events is to stand united in support of all veterans—regardless of their political beliefs. We are here to represent and honor every veteran we serve.

Farmers market update:

The farmers market will be post poned for two weeks. We do not have enough vendors interested in participating at this time. We will try again in August.

VFW volunteers are needed for a fund raising event on July 18-19 2025 on 1st street.

The VFW post 4061 has been invited to partner with the chamber of commerce to park vehicles on 1st in support of white water festival.

Volunteers are asked to be a VFW member if not a member please adhere to these guidelines.

-of reasonable age, (discretion of parents if child wants to volunteer to help).

- Healthy enough to stand for half an hour

- can verbally communicate in English enough to follow and givr instructions
