Why We Are Here
In 2012 our family’s life was changed as we knew it, with no idea what was going to come next, people from all over the world reached out and gave us some hope when we felt like there was nothing left. In 2017 when 52 people were killed and hundreds injured we decided we wanted to do something but we were not sure what. So Katie and myself came up with a plan to put basic care baskets together for victims, first responders and hospital staff. We drove over 15 hours with a crew of wonderful friends and 2 mini vans loaded to the brim with items to reach as many people as we could. After this trip we didn't want to stop there, we felt that despite the turmoil we have personally experienced that this was our calling to help others no matter the tragedy. Since 2017 we have done smaller baskets for injured officers and their family’s with what little we had. We have made a huge step into becoming a non profit so we can collect more and do more wide spread. Follow our page to see our latest projects and communities whom we are reaching out to.
