Fremont County, Colorado, has literally hundreds of low-income families seeking affordable housing, families spending 50-70% of their income on safe accommodations. Our dream is to purchase a one-acre site zoned for multiple units and establish a safe community of mobile homes for 8-10 families. Mobile homes in need of restoration are available county- and state-wide. At-risk teens in ne

ed of work experience and employment opportunities can be found throughout our community. These teens would benefit from learning construction and restoration processes. Place Called Home will bring together teams of young workers to restore mobile homes for families in need. Our mission will reduce the population of dilapidated mobile homes, and will provide opportunity for youth.
