💙 DSP Recognition Week | September 13–19 💛
This week, we celebrate the incredible Direct Support Professionals who are truly the foundation of Starpoint’s success.
DSPs are so much more than care providers. They are teachers, encouragers, problem-solvers, advocates, community connectors, and trusted supporters. Every day, they help individuals build skills, make their own choices, pursue their goals, and live as independently as possible.
Independence doesn’t simply mean doing things alone...it means having the right support to live the life you choose. Our DSPs help make that possible. Whether they’re teaching a new skill, helping someone navigate a challenge, supporting employment goals, or participating alongside individuals in integrated community activities, their work helps create opportunities for people to live, work, grow, and belong in their communities.
If you see one of our DSPs out and about this week (or anytime!), please take a moment to thank them! Their work may not always happen in the spotlight, but the difference they make in the lives of others is seen every single day.
