We feel our rules are very clear as to what is allowed or not. We will give you warnings when we delete your posts with the reason why. If you continue to post against the rules we will either put you on permanent post approval or remove you from the group, depending on the nature of your posts.

If you are on post approval, please do not post multiple posts hoping that one will go through. We will only approve one and delete all the others, which will trigger Facebook to put you on an auto-decline situation which makes our job more difficult.

All we ask is that you read and respect the rules and the admin of this page. We feel this is the best group in the area because we do have clear rules and work very hard to keep scammers and non-relevant posts in the group. However, all the admin are real people with real jobs and we do this voluntarily, so be patient with us and try to not make our jobs harder than it has to be.

We understand it is frustrating when you post and get nothing but questions. ALL business posts MUST include the business name. We also encourage you to put the date on your posts, posts live long after your event and not everyone knows to look at when it was posted. Other information that is good to include is your address & hours of operation. We know this information is available on your page but make it easy for your customers to support you by giving them the best information you can.

Conversation regarding the Gnomadic Adventure. We welcome feedback from EVERYONE, both businesses and customers. The majority wants to see it happen May-June, we have a lot of work to do to make that happen and we would need help. That would be before tourist season starts in full swing. The next popular time frame is June - July, our thought is that businesses are already busy at that time and this game is designed to gain us new customers by getting people in the doors during slow times. We are open to your thoughts on this.
The next question is how long should it last? We've had answers of 2 weeks max to 90 days. We want it to be long enough to make people aware of it and give them time to visit all the stores, but not so long they get bored with it.
Ultimately while answers on a poll are helpful, we really want to hear thoughts from a variety of people on what is best.

The Gnomadic Adventure will be an app based gnome hunt. Businesses will have a gnome in their location and customers must visit the business and take a selfie with the gnome through an app on their phone which automatically enters them to win prizes. Each gnome is worth 1 point and each point is a chance to win. The more gnomes you have the more chances you have to win.
