Exciting Updates from the Lapps!

During our time in Colorado, we were privileged to help organize the OASIS Youth Conference, a transformative event for so many young lives. In 2022, we relocated to Sarasota, Florida, where we hosted one youth conference before embarking on a new journey with Revivalist Ministries based in North Carolina. Together, we launched a new youth conference called WAKE. (Follow Revivalist Ministries)

At OASIS, we’ve expanded our vision to include so much more:

Hello everyone! 🌟 We’re thrilled to share that we’ve teamed up with the amazing folks at Revivalist Ministries, and we’re merging Oasis Youth Conference and Winter Retreat into a brand-new conference called WAKE!⁣

⁣It’s tailor-made for young adults aged 18 and above, as well as young married couples. We’re excited about this collaborative venture and can’t wait to see you all at WAKE. Get ready for an incredible journey of growth, connection, and inspiration!⁣

The key to walking in biblical authority is humility.

We are only as affective in public as we are in private. Take time to worship the Lord. Cancel everything out. That’s where the anointing flows. That’s when humility flows.

What a way to end the day with session 4. Thank you Dave for bringing us this word on humility.

Tyrone and Anita brought a strong word at Oasis about what addiction can do to our minds and lives.

God has given us the weapons to fight the enemy. What is the weapon inside of you that Satan wants to take down? Don’t give him access. It’s not about fighting harder it’s about fighting smarter. He has already lost, let’s go ahead and grab the victory!

Why do we lack connections to people when we have access to the world through technology? If technological connects people why are people so lonely. Is it possible that we are connected to the wrong things?

This talk from Todd reminds us that we must take responsibility for your own life. The only way to do that is to connect with Jesus.

👉 we must recognize our need for Him and ask Him to be our Savior and Lord
👉 we have to read his word. Pray and listen for his voice
👉 we have to plug into the work of his kingdom through the local church

What is important to you here on earth will be what determines where you spend eternity.

Wow. What a kick off to Oasis weekend! The Millers bringing it with the worship session 🙌🏼 and Dave asked us what do we truly desire or want to experience in our life? Joy, Peacefulness, Connection, Respect, Acceptance? Is there something holding you back?

God wants to lead you into the holy place. Bring your burdens to him.
