🏖Save the Date!....Thursday, August 22🏖

LBIA MEMBERS’ ANNUAL PICNIC

Thursday evening August 22nd, 2024 will be the date for the Annual LBIA Catered Picnic and social meeting for its members.

This event will be held at the New Goodhue County Byllesby Park, Richard Samuelson Pavilion's west wing (5001 Hwy 19 Blvd, Cannon Falls).

We will begin at 6:00 p.m. for socializing and registration.

Serving will commence at 6:30 p.m..... with catered picnic meal ...... followed by a casual informational meeting at ~7:15 p.m.

This picnic is catered to LBIA members, however non-members are welcome to attend and register on the spot.

Membership is $30 annually per household.

So, please plan to come out and enjoy a summer evening with your lake neighbors.

Notice to Lake Byllesby shoreline property owners in Dakota and Goodhue Counties.

Lake Byllesby Improvement Association has received a permit from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources to treat approximately 30 acres of Lake Byllesby with a DNR-approved aquatic herbicide Diquat to control the invasive Curly Leaf Pondweed (CLP). This early-season treatment targets only early-emerging CLP and is safe to fish and other aquatic life. The proposed treatment would occur between April 22nd and May 3rd 2024. However, if you do not wish to have this treatment applied within 150ft of your summer-pool property shoreline, please let us know by April 21st 2024.

Save the Date --- **Thursday April 25th 2024**

Potluck Dinner/General Meeting

The 2024 L.B.I.A. Annual Potluck Dinner and General Meeting will be held at Camp Phillippo Dining Hall (30654 32nd Ave Way, Cannon Falls) on Thursday evening, April 25th. Members are asked to bring a dish to share and arrive no later than 6:00 P.M. Dinner will begin at 6:30 with the general meeting to follow at 7:15 P.M. Guests will include County Commissioners, local law enforcement representatives, and a few other interesting folks. Your 2024 L.B.I.A. Memberships may be secured at this meeting as well.
