Again, a homeowner is pushing to install riprap on their short-term rental beachfront property, threatening the public shoreline in the Tolovana Park neighborhood of Cannon Beach.

While this proposal has been denied twice, the homeowner has appealed the Planning Commission’s latest denial. Now the issue heads back to the City Council.

💬 Speak up for our coast! Urge the Cannon Beach City Council to stand by the Planning Commission’s decision and say no to harmful riprap.

📣 ACTION ALERT: We need your help to protect the public beach!

A homeowner in Cannon Beach has appealed the Planning Commission’s denial of their application for riprap on the public beach. Please lend your voice to urge the City Council to uphold the Planning Commission’s decision to deny the riprap and protect the beach!!

The next appeal hearing is Wednesday, March 5th at 6:00pm.

Let's pack the chamber and let them know why we don't want any more riprap destroying our beach!
