Eastern Ohio Damage Prevention Council

A group to help prevent damage to all utilities for the purpose of
maintaining service integrity, public safety through education & communication.

We are one of several utility excavation damage prevention councils through out the state of Ohio, sponsored by the Ohio Utilities Protection Service. Our monthly meetings seek to bring together contractors, utility companies, municipals departments, engineers, and all others involved in working around utility lines to prevent damages to facilities. We seek to provide useful information to meeting

attendees to promote safe excavation and to encourage and facilitate open communication between attendee organizations.

Thank you to our members who registered for our OHIO811 Day event. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow. Please note that the event will proceed rain or shine.
As a reminder, there is a detour in place affecting access to certain parking areas.
When traveling on Debartolo Drive and turning left onto Mahoning Avenue, please drive past the "Road Closed" sign, as the roadway remains open for OHIO811 event attendees and access to the additional parking area.
Upon arrival, please proceed to the basement level of the facility, where our program will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m.

The Blood Hound Underground Raptor was in motion this morning! Learn more about the Raptor and its GPR functions at the upcoming 8-1-1 day at OHIO811 ! Register by August 3rd by scanning the QR code! We will also have a Vac Truck from Enbridge Gas and the OHIO811 education trailer! We look forward to seeing you there!
