Fire building is our favorite station! We started a fire from string, one cotton ball (due to the cold) and one 2x4. The object was to burn a string tied above the fire. We did it in 9:01!

Last weekend, Troop 8115 participated in Stambaugh District’s Klondike. The Scouts had a great time working together, demonstrating their skills, and showing true teamwork. Their hard work paid off — they earned enough nuggets to take first place!

Fantastic weekend at Camp Stambaugh! Perfect weather and lots of Scout fun! This weekend Scouts worked on first aid, knots and fire starting. Two perfect nights sitting by the fire playing games and sharing Scouting stories.
